Terms of sale
Last updated 30 September 2026
These terms cover buying and using Off-Grid Blueprint, UK & Europe Edition 2026. They are written for consumers buying for their own use. Nothing in them affects your legal rights as a consumer.
1. Who we are
Off-Grid Blueprint is published by Aldran Group Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 16847513), registered office 53 Eden Crescent, Leeds LS4 2TS. Contact us at hello@offgridblueprint.co.uk. Aldran Group Ltd is not registered for VAT.
2. What you are buying
Off-Grid Blueprint is digital content. It comes in three editions:
- Blueprint: the 112-page web book, readable in your browser, and a print-quality PDF stamped with your name and email.
- Builder: everything in Blueprint, plus five online calculators and the printable planner pack (PDF).
- Smart Homestead: everything in Builder, plus the smart-home config pack (a zip of 43 files for ESPHome, Home Assistant, Frigate and Meshtastic).
The sales page describes each edition in more detail. The price you pay is the one shown at checkout, in pounds sterling unless the checkout shows another currency.
3. Payment
Payment is processed by Whop. Whop acts as merchant of record for tax purposes: it collects and pays any VAT or sales tax due on your purchase, and any tax is shown at checkout. Whop's own terms and privacy policy apply to the payment. Your contract for the content itself is with Aldran Group Ltd. It starts when Whop confirms your payment.
4. Immediate access and your right to cancel
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you normally have 14 days to cancel a purchase made online. For digital content that is not supplied on a physical medium, that right ends once we start supplying it, if you have agreed to this.
At checkout you will be asked to tick a box to (a) give your express consent to immediate access to the content, and (b) acknowledge that you will therefore lose your 14-day right to cancel. We start supplying the content as soon as your payment is confirmed, so once you have given that consent and acknowledgement the 14-day cancellation right no longer applies. We confirm your consent and acknowledgement with your order confirmation. If you do not want to give up the right to cancel, please do not complete the purchase.
This does not affect your rights if the content is faulty (section 5). See also cancellations and refunds.
5. If something is wrong with the content
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If it is not, you are entitled to a repair or a replacement. If we cannot repair or replace it within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience to you, you are entitled to a price reduction, which can be up to a full refund. If faulty digital content we supplied damages a device or other digital content you own, and this happened because we did not use reasonable care and skill, we will either repair the damage or pay you compensation. Email us to use these rights.
6. Updates
Twelve months of updates are included from the date you buy: corrections, and updates to prices and law in the edition you bought. We publish them by replacing the files and pages in your account. This is a one-off purchase, not a subscription: there are no repeat charges. A future new edition (for example a 2027 edition) is a separate product and is not included.
7. Your account and access
You sign in with the Whop account you bought with. Keep that account secure: access is tied to it. Download your PDFs and packs so you have your own copies. If we ever close the online reader, we will give you at least 30 days' notice so you can download your files first.
8. Your licence
The content is licensed, not sold, to you as the buyer, for your own personal use. You may read it on your own devices, print it for yourself, use the calculators, and use the config pack on your own home or holding. You may not copy, share, publish, upload, resell, sublicense or otherwise redistribute any of it, in whole or in part, including on file-sharing sites, forums, public code repositories or group purchases. Your PDFs are stamped with your name and email so that copies can be traced. The config pack also contains its own LICENSE.txt, which says the same for those files. If you break the licence we may end your access.
9. General information, not advice
Off-Grid Blueprint is general information for planning and learning. It is not legal, electrical, veterinary or financial advice, and it cannot take account of your land, your animals or your circumstances. Prices and laws were checked in September 2026 and change. Before you buy land, apply for planning, do electrical, gas or structural work, keep or treat animals, or commit money, get advice from a qualified professional. Mains electrical work must be done by a competent person to the applicable regulations (in England and Wales, Part P of the Building Regulations and BS 7671).
10. Our liability
We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to exclude, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. The content is for personal use, so we are not liable for business losses. Otherwise our total liability to you is limited to the price you paid.
11. Complaints, changes and law
If you are unhappy, email hello@offgridblueprint.co.uk and we will aim to reply within 5 working days. We may update these terms; the version shown when you bought applies to your purchase. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you can also bring proceedings in your local courts, and if you live in the EU you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your country.
