Privacy notice

We collect as little as we can: enough to let you in, stamp your copy, and keep the records the law requires. We don't sell your data or use advertising cookies.
Who is responsible
Aldran Group Ltd (company no. 16847513, registered office 53 Eden Crescent, Leeds LS4 2TS) is the controller of the personal data described here. Contact: hello@offgridblueprint.co.uk.
What we collect and why
| What | Why | Lawful basis (UK GDPR) |
|---|---|---|
| From Whop when you sign in: your Whop user ID, name, email address, and which edition you own | To check your purchase and give you the right content | Contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) |
| Your name and email, printed on each page of your PDF downloads | To license the copy to you and discourage sharing | Contract; legitimate interests in protecting our work (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
| Order records (what you bought, when, the amount), received from Whop | Tax and accounting records | Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) |
| Emails you send us | To answer you and deal with refunds or complaints | Contract; legitimate interests |
| Technical logs kept by our hosting provider (IP address, browser, pages requested, time) | Security and fixing faults | Legitimate interests |
| Analytics, only if we switch it on: counts of page views and where visitors came from | To improve the site | Legitimate interests, or your consent if analytics ever needs cookies |
We never see your card or bank details. Whop processes your payment and handles tax as merchant of record, under its own privacy policy; for that payment data Whop is a separate controller.
Cookies
ogb_session: keeps you signed in (signed, httpOnly, 30 days). Strictly necessary.ogb_oauth: protects the Sign in with Whop step (10 minutes). Strictly necessary.ogb_consent: remembers whether you accepted or rejected measurement (12 months). Strictly necessary.
Strictly necessary cookies don't need consent.
Measurement, only if you accept. If you choose Accept in the cookie banner, we load the Whop Pixel, a script from Whop that records page views and purchase events so we can see which pages, posts and links lead to sales. To recognise your browser, Whop may store an identifier in it and use characteristics of your browser and device (a technique called fingerprinting). If you choose Reject, or make no choice, it does not load. You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” at the foot of every page.
How long we keep it
- Sign-in session: in a cookie in your browser for up to 30 days, or until you sign out. We keep no separate customer database.
- Order and accounting records: 6 years after the end of the financial year, as UK tax law requires.
- Support and refund emails: up to 2 years after we last hear from you.
- Hosting logs: a short period, set by our hosting provider, for security.
Who else handles it
Whop (payments, accounts and sign-in), our website hosting provider, and our email provider, each only as needed to run the service. Some are based in the United States; where data leaves the UK it is protected by the UK's adequacy regulations or approved safeguards such as the International Data Transfer Addendum.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, and ask us to correct, delete or restrict it, to stop using it, or to move it. Email hello@offgridblueprint.co.uk; we reply within one month. You can withdraw any consent at any time.
Complaints
Please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO): ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or 0303 123 1113. If you live in the EU you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
